Nurture Yoga

Nurture Yoga helps the child, young person or adult with autism or additional needs reduce stress and reactivity and helps to take them to a place of calm, which in turn increases their belief in themselves and confidence.

Regular nurture yoga sessions can:

​

  • reduce stress and anxiety

  • improve self-awareness, both body and mind

  • improve motor planning and control

  • improve immune function and quality of sleep

  • develops balance and the ability to relax

  • develops the ability to self-regulate across varying environments and demands

  • develops coping strategies to help in stress and anxious situations

  • develops flexibility and co-ordination

  • helps the child, young person or adult feel calm
